Description of the Mabel Dodge Luhan House:

“As you approach the Mabel Dodge Luhan House, it’s easy to see why some of the greatest minds of the 20th century were inspired here.

Situated at the end of a quiet road not far from the center of town, the house appears much as it idid in the days when Mabel used to admire her views o the Sacred Mountain from the third-story solarium. One can only imagine some of the tantalizing conversations that must have taken place within these walls. After all, Georgia O’Keefe stayed here. So did D.H. Lawrence, Ansel Adams, Martha Graham, among many other notables.

Today, you can add your name to the home’s impressive guest list. As those who came before you, you’re likely to leave with an impetus to return very soon.”
